I’m taking a quick ten minute break from my current project, because I reached a point of diminishing returns. These last thirty minutes haven’t amounted to much, and there’s a quickly approaching deadline on the horizon, so the stress is real.
To set the scene, there were these two ideas that were put into motion a month or two ago: one involved me writing and animating an explainer video, and another involved a seperate entity writing and creating a different kind of explainer video. Two different scripts, two different objectives, two different timelines. The video that the other entity produced was disappointing, at best. As a result, the two things have now been mashed together to kill two birds with one stone… and possibly killing me in the process.
This end result will be a testament to how I can minimize my work input while getting the maximum value output. So it might actually be a good thing, because in the end, isn’t that what we all are striving for anyway? Not cutting corners, but rounding them.
